Whats the widest size wheel i can run on the front of my e30 in 17"??

It will scrub and you don't really want to put 10mm spacer's on the front, the wheel will never be central to the hub unless you have bought solid spacer's?
The off set of your wheel's is not correct for the car, that's why you are having to put spacer's on, spacer's are not the best option mate.
You can try your back wheel's on the front to save time and money but don't get your hope's up

Yeah, ive been offered a set of 4 hub centric spacers, will these help matters any?
