Hi
I have just stripped two m42 heads one from an e30 one from an e36
My e30 head hads thicker valve stems, larger valves, and dual springs, is this normal.compared to the e36 one.

Hi
I am using niether as i am breaking the car, I had loads of hassle gettign a head, the first was a m44, and the second has 4 bent valves.
So was going to swap over 4 vlaves untill i found they did not fit, so I gave up as i have a m10/s14 2.0l litre rebuild, a s14 2.3 rebuild and a 3.0 m20 conversion going on

what's wrong with the orig e30 head? cracked? you wanna offload the late head cheap? might be tempted! is that the one that came with the bent valves? im looking at going with the narrower valve stems in my 2.1, we could mb come to something over my existing e30 head for yours?
