Hi everyone
What a wicked weekend to have the roof down and drive around except if ur dad trys to take the roof down and brakes the handle in the rear of the car clean off, I mean he has pulled the handle off thinking it released the roof lid (muppet)
What I need to know is if the front door handles are the same as the rear release handle for the hatch lid but its just upside down???
thanks
Neil

when I got my replacement from the dealers
I got the handle and the surround it sits in
(mine has snapped at the top of the handle)
so should be a direct replacement
you can try a door handle if you wanna
would be good to know if it does fit
but if you need to get one from the dealers
its only cheap at less than a fiver

i changed the handle for a normal door handle after mine broke. i removed the pin and kept the actual handle part and changed the surround (as normally thats the part the breaks) the surround seems to be the same but obviously the handle is different due to the two cables attached.
i also figured out how to open the roof cover with a flat screwdriver, worth doing while the roof is open, just look how the mechanism works and do the same with a screwdriver
mrlee
