320i auto, will it be too slow???

Hi, at the moment i have a 318i which is not blisteringly quick i will admit but i may have a chance of a 320i auto 2-door with 84,000 miles on the clock, so will it be much better than the 318i or will the auto rob it of any power advantage, and apart from it being six cylinders should i just wait for a good 325i??

hi mate,i dont think theres much in it performance wise between the 318 and the 320.you get the worst of both worlds,318 performance with 325 fuel economy.id wait for a good 325 to turn up.
