there is possibly just enough room to drill a little hole next to it on the side of the block, reckon an m6 or maybe an m4 bolt will hold it? :?

or i think its gonna be drill it out and re tap it to the next size up, but can you drill out a sheared bolt? :?

its the end of a great day, everything has gone quite well, but i cant turn the key now al cause of one poxy bolt dammit!

its not fair, i want my mummy!!!!

I would try an ''easy out'' first mate, they have a reverse thread on them so you drill a hole down the middle of the snapped stud and wind them in anticlockwise.

it could work and they are farely cheap from most motorfactors or halfords.

sweet, realised it could be drilled out and just bolted up instead! all done, engine is purring almost perfectly now! need to do the rockers again, a little ticky but will give it a gentle 100 miles before i redo that, then another 100 miles and dump the oil, god i feel better now!
