Within 4-6 weeks although a date hasn't been set.

Nothing will be orgainsed until we have enough cars that can make it worth while.

The list is growing tho :D

Hey Mark, did ya get my PM in the end?

Not sure if the lady from the mag's sending out e-mails yet but mine likes to divert anything it doesn't recognise to the spam folder :(

Would love to be in on this if I can!

at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground for Sunday 30th July

Please add your names to the list please:

From PBMW:
It's free entrance although they
do ask you make a small donation for the Raising Stars charity.
They're happy for anyone to join in so if we can get together a group
of forced induced E30s, then it will make for a great feature. I'll
have a photographer there and I'll also bring the timing gear. I only
heard from Lennie andAlex, so I'll email them about it now.
You mentioned about the two Cossie powered E30s, the two 2.5 turbo'd
Tourers, 5.0-litre V12 Toruer, the turbo'd coupé and Bootyman's two
cars, do you think they would be interested?
1. Alex - Twin turbo
2. Lennie - SC
3. Ant
4.
5.
6.

Please also forward your email address so I can put you in contact with Louise.

See you all there!!

Mark.

Fozzy, as mine is going on Jamz's, it should easily be running perfectly by then, so if he wants to track his I guess my place could go to him? Personally it looks too nice a car to track!

Good effort on organising this, mark for us lazy people(me) could you pop up a postcode, as I may try and get up and spectate :)

My mate, has a N/A 2.7 converted coupe, which is running a 14.2 quarter, last time we tested it at the pod, since then he's done some headwork, so would be quicker, would this qualify, or is it just forced inducted cars your looking for???, as he wants to come and play?, and also wants to bring along another mate with a E30 M3 ?

The event is open to all BMW's but only a select few will get any attention or a go on the track. PBMW are the ones to ask mate, drop me a email add and I'll pass it on.

From the list I have already people need to be in the 12's, low 13's to get a go on the timing gear! Even I may not get a go

the same engine in my last project,a stripped out rwd celica weighting 1226 kg made for a scary fast ride,290 bhp in a car 300kg heavier with the aerodynamics of a house doesnt quite cut it,its like having 4 fat dudes in your car every where you go.i had hoped to have gone to the next power stage upgrade by now to compensate, but ive been having to sort out some minor problems that are starting to arise and cosworth=high maintainance=very expensive

Unless you've got a big stereo install you are going to be around 1260-1300kgs.

Mine was about 1300kgs on the weigh bridge at Dony Park

Just picked up an e-mail from Louise which suggests that we should all get a couple of go's on the timing gear, plus a piss about on the circuit part.

Seems there is some confusion over who's booking the place too?

Any other definates for going then?! :D

Should be a laugh seeing how bad my 0-60 is!

andy, i had my touring weighed with nothing in the boot ,no ice install and half a tank of fuel before the engine conversion and it was 1465kg with almost perfect 52/48% weight distribution.i cant believe a fully loaded touring with leather interior,m-tech 2 kit and 17" alloys would only be roughly 35-75kg than a fully stripped out jap car with paper thin body panels, only 2 seats,no stereo and carpets with even the electric windows replaced with winders to save weight :? whats the latest with this day anyway regarding invites?has everyone invited already heard as i sent a email but didnt get a reply
