what exhaust system have people used with m50 conversion

just wondering what system people have and how loud thy are i ant something not much louder that standard but don twant to be restricted on power too much i no i asking a lot

Just use any standard BMW exhaust. I've seen some very high powered 2.7's still using standard exhausts. Will be fine with the M50.
If you want to increase power then you'll to invest in a 6 branch manifold like the ones made by BTB.
We are considering getting these developed.

that exhaust looks sweet but i dont want it that loud draws to much attention from the cops

Standard M20 325 system sounds nice mate, ive just fitted one to another M50 conversion and it does sound sweet
If you want quiet though you will prob have to look at modding the E36 boxes to fit.

cheers for that sounds like the standard system would be fine i just dont want anything over the top what sort of money will i be paying for the exhaust system

Manifolds and frontpipes are the problem area, price all depends on what you want, what you can get, and what you can do i.e. welding

sorry i did nt mean for the front section i can get that sorted its just the rest of the system i need to source hopefully be ready to take my car of the road in 2 weeks got my 3.07 diff and a 325 e36 getrag box last week so im nearly there with the parts just have to get my engine back together
