Hi there,

Just a quick query....

Are the front wings/bonnet from early (chrome bumper) cars the same as the ones from later ones?-I.E is it possible to swap them over?

Furthermore, are the rear passenger doors the same for both the touring and the saloon?

any advice gratefully accepted

i'm pretty sure the bonnet and rear doors are the same but i think because of the changes to the bumpers on facelift cars the front wings might be slightly different. I'm not 100% sure though

Front wings will be the same, facelift/pre facelift, it's the convertible wings that are different. Bonnets are all the same too.

Rear doors on the touring are different to a normal 4 door E30, bottom half of the door is the same (hence any 4 door M-tech kit fitting) but the top half of the window frame is different.

Post 87 panels have better rust proofing.

I like the idea of lightened panels.. look at this thread and at the old forum, trying to get in contact with the guy.
