How easy is it to get the injectors out, and how do I know if they are working properly, or if they are stuffed? What would the car symptoms be?

With the engine running put a long bar or screwdriver against each injector body.If they are working you can hear them ticking if you put
your ear to the end of the bar or screwdriver.
Basically if they are not working engine will run very rough or miss on
one cylinder. Very rare though unles muck or something has got past the fuel filter and blocked them or one of them.
