I'm bored of everybody knowing I'm a 4-pot loser so want to take off this badge.

Last badge I took off I used a steaming kettle and a piece of card to prise it off, though are there any methods more friendly to the fragile (red) paint?

Cheers

Dental floss, wax ones. Run behind the letters with a little sawing action.

Then a little white spirit to remove the remaining glue/gunk.

Be sure to pay attention when scrubbing the glue/gunk off after and not scrub with the green/rough side of the kitchen sponge. Especially important after you've had a couple of smokes and then decide its a good idea to do some car stuff! :rasta:

Similar to the two above, i used cotton with washing up liquid, in a sawing motion. the cotton will snap if it gets snagged so shouldnt damage anything. and the washing up liquid lubricates like the finest KY. :D

 Too true Image

And yeah mine used to be quiet (£1k head rebuild 30k miles ago), but then I dared to go over 3,000rpm one day

Took the badge off anyway (with a combination of the above ideas so thanks for the input) - still a bit of ghosting(?) of the outline of the badge but you can't really see it unless you're looking for it.

I think it looks a lot better, much more clean. What do people think?

Next job will be to sort the single tailpipe out with a nice shiny twin exhaust trim. That sounds so council but I'll do it proper, honest winkeye
