If they look anything like these:
Clicky Linky
Then they should be OK - some sort of adaptor plate would be in order if the holes don't match up.
These are proper Recaro E30 seats, an option at the time but quite rare. I missed out on these by 4 seconds!

are the recaros found in the earlier sporty vauxhalls, like asatra GTE, cav SRI etc the same as the ford ones? apart from the material of course.

ive seen some awsome recaros on ebay im unsure m8 about the vauxhall seats being the same as the ford ones me personally have always felt the ford recaros to be the best seats done get me wrong i like the 325i sport std seats but tempted by something different providing it fits in and dont stand out a mile!!

if its just something differetn your after then the e30 recaros could be what you need, then you won't need to worry about fitting either, not sure of the differences of the e30 ones and the ford ones, got any pics of the ford ones?

I think they were proper bmw ones. Cloth seats and leather backing. They were very supportive and comfortable.
These ones are on ebay but are leather

I'm pretty sure Recaro seat runners are interchangable from manufacturers..
That is to say I had some of the RS turbo style recaros in my MK2 Golf (V rare in them too) for a while and they had the same bolt pattern on the base of the seat to the runners as my friend had in his RS turbo and from what I could gather at a show, the same as new ones too...
Checked the price of the runners/brackets from these at the stealers? Get the runners: Bolt to some re-upholstered ford seats, bolt in.
The recaros iin the E30 can be either the Evo style ones or the RS turbo ones correct?
Just a guess about runners though.
Jai
