I recently changed my dash, and had to swap the bracket of the dial cluster because one of the arms on mine was broken. I used a 325 bracket, but had to change the dials over (mileage) and think i've put back th wrong coding plug back in.
I have two others with the following codes on - which is the right one?
312 4.87 (in green)
566 5.89 (in blue)
I'm not sure which one is in the car now, as I haven't taked the cluster out again yet.
My car is an '87 320i pre facelift.
Dial coding plugs....which one?

Hmmmmm....going to have a go at changing them today.
One problem though, both are for the 320i as follows:
320i-1 377 364 (later 320i/324D)
320i-1 381 635 (320i 12/86 onwards)
So which one do I use???? - my car was July '87 (pre-facelift model (just))

Doubt if it matters. Probably something to do with fuel tank capacity?
