BMW badge removal??

Hi guys,

I have been looking at replacing my boot and bonnet badges, found some tasty alpina ones to match my rims but havnt got a clue how to get the old ones off!

Thought I would ask you guys before I scratched my paint

Fold up a tissue and whack a flat headed screwdriver in the middle, then prise it off from the bottom.

The pins are at 3 and 9 o'clock so if you prise it from the bottom (or top) you have the most leverage.

Use something softish/plastic to lever it off though !!!!!

for the bonnet one it is easier to push the pins out from the back, use a wooden/rubber mallet (or hit a piece of wood wit a normal hammer) against the two pins you see on the back of the bonnet, this should push it up enough to be able to prise it off with something soft from the top, just don't mangle or loose the two little bushes that grip the pins otherwise you new badges won't be held in place
