i got a 318i 89 it needs a lot of work what is it like to take the head off and how do i get more power out of it

you won't get a lot of power out of it but you can make it a bit better.
These are simple engines but i can't remember how i took the head off my old one as my dad did most of it!

ive rebuilt the heads on one o these a few yrs back...
quite easy following haynes manual
although some special tools are advised u can get away without them...
hydraulic tappets can be a bitch
as for power i wouldnt bother to be honest...
