Hi guys,

Every time I(she!) use's the passenger door the window doesnt go under the hood, the door shuts but the glass stays outside of the lip pressed up against the hood. If I open the window then shut it it all lines up OK.

Are there any adjustments I can carry out to get this little annoying problem fixed? The hood looks OK but must be sitting low at that side, or is it the window?!?! :screwy:

I don't have a cab so i'm not sure but on the saloon electric windows there's an adjuster at the top of the mechanism to allow you to drop or raise the window by a few mm.
Try lowering both left and right windows and see if they sit at the same height when fully open before you pull the door apart.

I did actualy mean lower the windows and see if they go down into the door the same depth, but it has the same outcome

If you pull the door card off and peel back the plastic at the top in the middle you should see two holes through the metal. You have to lower the window slightly so the bolts are in view and then slacken them off and move the glass down a notch or two.

Before you do that, Is the door hanging correctly ?
Check the gap around the door panel against the bodywork and make sure it's even all the way round.
If it's not, when you drop the window it will be slightly open at the front.

The window is adjusted by 3 nuts on the runners..you have to take the inside off..not too difficult

as to adjusting the roof line it is a combination of getting the front window level and ,,if you look on the pram hood in each rear quarter,,,you will see a rubber plug on one of the joints..take this out and you will see an allen key socket ,,,place allen key in it and turn ..in raises the roof line ..out lowers it..i think they generally sag over time...but be gentle

best of luck

I just had the door card off and adjusted the window, I tweaked the fully open stop until it shut and sealed all OK. I do think the roof has sagged a little but havnt adjusted it. If it lets in wind at speed I will tweak it all some more and get a good seal going on.

Thanks for the advice guys! And just for the record....it only took 15mins tops!! :D
