All depends on condition.
Engine must be good. Get compression checked.
If it's super mint and has all the Alpina bits then you could pay upto 6k.
It's difficult to put a value on Alpina's, they are worth what people are willing to pay for them. Some people will pay silly money and others won't pay any more than what a 325i SE is worth.

It is so so hard to find a decent one now.
The good ones are being held onto by their owners.
Get a good one and it will really bring a smile to your face.

Finding a H27 is an impossible task!
I remember Geoffs H26 and that was simply brilliant.
Never been in a proper sorted H27 which actually puts down the power.

Dash plaque, obviously. LOTS of paperwork, with any luck. If you can see them, or ask the owner to point out, the four digit number stamped onto the head; should be at the front on the inlet side, but quite well hidden by the inlet manifold.
Just make sure everything's there, really - steering wheel, gear knob, dials (possibly) should all be Alpina, wheels of course, front spoiler and side skirts although these were all options and could be just M-Tech II stuff.
Beyond that, it's the usual things you'd check when buying a Sport. Get some pics!

engine number on the service booklet should correspond with the chassis no. Also should state Mr. Mark Adkin built it as he was the techy at synters who did all the mechanical fitting
unlike normal bm's which have a number for each.
There should be on the block down the bottom C2 27 then engine number stamped on it. Again inlet side

BTW dash plaques are now available via ebay - basically blanks but they will punch whatever detail you want on them. So follow all the above advice to be sure.
