u know spark plugs.... on the lead end of the plug... shouldnt there be a little metal hat thing that screws onto the threaded part.???? i know my iS was like this... however i bought some bosch plugs from ecp... and they dont have them and neither do the plugs that were actually on the car....

any idea... do m20s not have this bit?

i think it all depends on what spark plug leads your using, i didnt think you needed them for the bmw standard plugs, but i use them with my magnacor leads and i had to use them with the K1 racing leads

how come you went bosch and not the NGK's?

was at euros getting dizzy and rotor, and they only do bosch...

did u get ngk from gsf?

Halfords dude, no need for super flashy plugs, std fit for chrome bumper 325 is all you need

Thats what i got chrome bumper 325i plugs from GSF. I asked for these and they didn't have facelift 325i plugs anyway! so smoooooth now.

Ant hows the rim i'm dying to know now, my car looks shocking with my in need of refurb bbs's!

bugger

i'l pay em a visit now then!

my car has been running like a bag of crap when cold, with idle surging sometimes from 600-900, also smeeling of fuel sometimes

is this indicatice of a change of dizzy/rotor/plugs??-just makin sure

how much was the dizzy? did you get new HT leads?

fuel could be a perishing rubber fuel pipe?

fuel pipes look great

its had leads in the past couple of years so they should be fine...i hope

im in bristol at the moment with no tools so cant fit this stuff to cheque if it helps, as the BMW spark plug wrench leaves a lot to be desired it has to be said
