Of topic a little, dunno if you remember jon, but I had a diff of you a couple of years ago, you weren't at home when I picked it up!! I came all the way from Bedford to get it too... Well I just recently put the diff on my car, after about a year n half of it sitting in my back garden...Works like a good'un...

Yeah did get it sorted m8, thanks to you. Intially I thought I needed it, but it turned out that my rear sub frame bushes were shot to pieces, hence the whining noise, so got them replaced and left the diff in the back garden, covered it with a cloth and that was it. My diff went about 2 month ago, so I got the wire brush out, brushed the fooking hell out of it, got some new oil, got it put in and
sorted!!!BMW really do make things that last!!

Sold a car which was supposed to be collected this evening, just got a message saying they now can't make it
