The AFM actually came out of my C2 2.7 which was being mapped at the time. It was a totally standard AFM. I took it off my car and and gave it to Adam who returned it to me at a later.
I'm sure it came off "the one" and Adam went out for a long drive and we both wondered if he'd forgotten it was my AFM

We had the 'pina one out another time, sure it was Usmans ride?

Too long ago to really remember , back in the daze........

Here's the problem. A dyno only tells you what's happening at WOT.

What about the rest?

An E39 M5 will be better on fuel.

Would you rather I told everyone?

If you want this to become a nasty, personal slagging match then bring it on.[no /quote] no that is not what i want , but i just cant see the point of adding performance comparisons in a magazine article if they were meaningless ? why mention it all ? as for peoples opinon of my car or how well it goes or does not go is not important ,i still love it regardless , i just thought a magazine article would be true and fair ,surely a reasonable assumption from a reader ?
Which car/issue was this?
It was the jan 2004 issue but i seem to remeber the meet being a bloody cold november sunday morning and you being a bit fragile after a busy night and a long drive ! you also mentioned the car in a piece about the e30 zone santa pod meet in the summer too.

Not Paul Lewis then, obnoxious Git with a Diamond black Sport with all kinds of shit mods. Like a 735i AFM. Craig was there with me at the dyno day at Nobles which was probably mid 2004. The dyno day was set up by 325eye.

I had a grey J plate 318i 2 door at the time, didn't have the 325i Touring until March 2004. I remember your car from the Santa Pod thing now. I can't remember driving it though.

Sound about right?
that is spot on ,pretty good memory considering how fragile you looked at the time !
