Hey,

I got a 2 door post-face-lift and I'm wondering If I can fit rear opening windows (the one with the clip thing) from a pre-face-lift.

If so how would I do this, as I have found a 320 in a scrappy so I can get these windows cheap.

dead easy to fit, just make sure you get the seals from the opening windows, they will be different to the ones fitted to your non-opening windows.

Make sure the tints are the same too, i.e. bronze tint and green tint, earlier cars had a bronze tint to the glass.

Also don't forget the small clips that slide into position in the C pillar.

Easy conversion to do and most satifying (typo) in the summer months

Don't make the mistake that I made. Which was I got to excited about getting the windows and left all the bits I needed on the car at the scrappy's, which was not close by to home  so I go back to get the bits, the scrappy has closed and I didn't bring any tools with me either  so I go back a 3rd time before I get what I need... 8) But what do i do when I try to change them over? I fuck it up that's what and end having to get the de-chromed bit on the window from my local stealers  not cheap....all because I tried to change them from the outside instead of the inside, which is what your supposed to do.. winkeye

Ya learn the hard way sometimes...
