Will a LSd from a 525i sport fit my 3 series?

Depends how your going to use it really,
ive got an M3 3.25 on mine.

I think as standard E36 325's had 3.15 ratio, so i will be losing a bit of top end but gain a bit of acceleration

So a e36 m3 3.25 will go on my e30 318is, if I was to change the engine for a e34 525i 24v

Also what's the best prop to you if doing this conversion?
