I've never seen a Bentley manual but opinion is they are better than the Haynes book of lies.

Ive got both, bentley is the best but there are sometimes little things that it doesnt cover where the haynes might, or the haynes might explain something better.

My advice would be, go buy a Bentley manual but keep an eye out for a Haynes manual at a bootsale or with little postage on ebay as U will pick one up for about £2.

Save your money use the zone!

Depends on which car you have. Haynes is useful for 4cylinder cars

Buy my Haynes for £3.50, and if it's not good enough then get a Bentley

Bentley

Doesn't cover some Euro models and specifications, but is much better for the cars it *does* cover.

And (purely hypothetically ofcourse winkeye ), you might be able to download the Haynes manual in PDF somewhere online.

Thanks folks.

I bought Zayyan's Haynes anyway, and will doubtless get cross with that shortly and buy the Bentley too (if my previous highly negative Haynes experiences is anything to go by.. Anyone remember the Fiat 127?...)

Appreciate all the input..

@Gwynleym10 - I certainly intend to use the zone! As for the model, not being funny but the clue's in the sig winkeye ...er...so that'd be me wanting the Bentley too then...

Only buy the Haynes manual should you want to use the pages to wipe the oil off your hands when doing repairs, its as useful as a condom with a hole in.

Just my opion
