Need to change the oil on my auto gearobx i have a new strainer but how much oil will it take, i have 5.5 litres.

I'm planning to change the fluid twice as i have been told the torque converters hold alot of fluid which i won't get on the first change.

auto refill 3 speed 2.0 litres
4 speed 3.0 litres
