Just bought a set of original E30 sport seats last night. Very good condition, no tears or rips. However, on closer inspection the drivers seat cushion could do with replacing or beefing up as it feels very soggy under the fabric. Also one of the bolsetr cushions has broken down a bit so I'd like to take them off also.
Any tips on how the do this properly without breaking anything would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin.

If it aint broke - Modify it...
It's dead easy actualy, when i get my frame back i will try and do an article when i put my drivers sprot seat back together if you guys are interested. It's pretty easy to workout, but you do need circlip pliars to seperate the seat back and base.
Don't know about the comforts seats, but IIRC there was two screws at the bottom, and then you have to pull the plastic handle off and then the panel should come off.
Hope this helps.

Classic Le Mans was great this year. Couldn't take the Jetta though as I had a small incident in it resulting in the loss of the front bumper, so had to take the Mk3 - not as much fun though.
The Classic is great because there are no scumbag chavs that go... they wouldn't understand why there's no fair, topless dancers or beer mountains.
Make sure you go next time (2010) - it's well worth it.
