nah im between cheltenham and gloucester just 20 min north of bristol, near south wales, it cost £8 to send him head was 12kg apprently, I sent it them becuase they are catcams dealer and I wanted him to check the bearing in the head at the same time, think ill drive the block down one friday and visit cousins in london over weekend it will be too much hassle to post that.

Tell me about it mate, mine took me 4 months of casual work to do mine. I will see it at some point i'm sure, perhaps even lend a hand as there is no reason why every m20 shouldn't be boosted

Good clean, weld and skim was about £100 but im not sure i like how much holes have been closed up even tho head gasket only flows this much i think the volume of water jacket might of been reduced abit to much, when i go to get block i might ask them if they can port them out abit more to match the block.
The turbo was just bought on the moment after watching the robins m20 vid, would prefer a 35 now cos i know it would make power i want, but ill see if i can handle the lag before i decide to swap

59mm compressor inducer and 19cm^2 exhaust housing, didnt measure compressor exducer before i put compressor housing back on at work and its a snap ring one so you need some monster £100 ratchet snap ring pliers to fit it, lucky someone had some as snap rings that size arent common.

Any update Will ?
I just bough an HX35W for mine
compressor 56/86 double entry type
turbine 58/72 with a wastegated 17cm/3 housing
should fall between your -40 and Fozzys H1C in response time, should be pretty lag free on the log, although I need to alter that sligtly with a standoff plate.
May yet swop to external W/G, the actuator is somewhat in the way on the existing housing
those snap rings sure are hard work to remove, made my fingers numb when it finally popped
Mattias would be proud, more "royal Elite Club Members"

lol ok here is photos of rear quater and boot lip removed, rear quater was unreapairable becuase bro decided to drift roundabout at 90 mph after arguement with GF
and hit back end on lamp post (idiot) and the lip for seal was too rotten to mess about with so i just cut one off a good e30 at scrap yard heres the pics, new quater panel and boot lip is now positioned and tacked and will post pics tommorow evening once its all welded up.

Glad its finished can get on with my touring now, it was big job and the worst part was BMW thought they had to braze everything possible and it was a pain to clean off
Oh yeah and he wanted a full respray on ths car before he wrote it off that the only reason we didnt buy another car and swap stuff over
