done my rear lights! now with a pic!

iv tinted my rear lights yesterday with the red spray i bought off ebay and they have come out real good! just as i wanted, all red with a gloss as i applied a layer of laquer on top too,

trick is to put the lights in the oven on low bake for a few mins, then what i did was to put it on the car and let it dry with the wind, since yesterday the paint has settled and went more red!

it sank in and i love it! il get some pics up shortly!

When I do mine, I spray them outside, then bring them inside immediately. Drying outside (unless really sunny) is not good... makes them go 'misty'.

Don't think I'd go as far as putting them in the oven though!

All red lenses look cool...

iv got 2 sets of the lights, 1 set off of my old sport before i sold it. simon on your car what lights do you have front and sides? smoked or clear?

looks real nice only thing is that you also painted the reverse lights, i wouldn't have done that (my opinion) but the look verry cleen

Kam....looks good I think mate.

Not quite as red as some, but looks smart. If it were any 'redder' you'd have no amber lighting through.

I didn't do the reverse light on mine...but doesn't matter. You don't need it for the MoT anyway.

There's no way you can get the look of the MHW units, they use coloured perspex (or whatever!) and you can't match that, same with the smoked lights.

Enough bullshit...they look good!!

Panesar i have smoked hella headlamps proper ones, smoked indicators and side repeaters and a red rear clutsters. All i need to do now is have my fogs tinted

i got the tint spray off ebay uk, just type in tint light spray in the search and it should come up

years a go when i was 16 there used to be a dolphin grey sport at my college and that was done nicely - nice drop and azev a's, he had all red rear lights and it looked awesomely perfect and i promised myself if i ever bought an e30 that colour i wud do the same!

i think it goes with the colour of the car, just want some different rims now!

lights look spot on.Thats the way i would have done them with the red reverse light.
Also,where did you get your exhaust ? or what make is it.Ive been after one like that for ages.

the exhaust is from powerflow, its the boxster type (chavy!)
