touring tailgate spoiler

What's the best way to bring a manky tailgate spoiler back to life? Mine really lets the car's appearance down.

I can't believe you haven't received any advice on this! I've tried all sorts of rubber cleaners and conditioners and always end up with an uneven blotchy mess. I've had mine off ever since I've the car repainted, because it looks so nasty against the spanky new paint. A new spoiler from BMW is stupidly expensive, so the only solution might be some masking tape and a can of trim paint!

You could also hold out for the fibreglass MTech replicas discussed on this board, but you might be waiting for a bit!

I'd forgotten about this post, thanks for the bump! As for waiting for the M-tec replicas, is it ever going to happen??

I WISH! I've been doing the anticipation dance for--yikes!--nine months now. But I think I've posted too many requests for updates and am starting to look like a bit of a pest! Care to give BMV some gentle prodding?
