well.........

The centre section will need rebending as they meet the rearbox at the wrong angle, the hanger supplied with the rear box are also only good as paperweights.

That said, I have a mongoose on mine, sounds sweet @ full chat and with the original BMW hangers in place, sits well in the rear valence.

In short its not a bad system, just needs a tweak to fit correctly

The MOngoose sounds ok on Ants car because his is turbo charged and the blower damps out of most of the noise.

On yours its going to be LOUD. Louder than Scorpion.

Good luck fitting it. You'll need it. The rear back box bands supplied dont do anything and the standard ones are too big so you better start planning on how to fit the system.

The Centre section will require lots of bending other wise the tail pipes will be on the floor even with the exhaust up against the subframe.

I didn't remove Mongoose from the E30Zone shop for no reason.

Magnex dont make an exhaust anymore for the E30.

The Scorpion is the best of the bunch you mention.

We have Larini exhausts coming for the E30's. make sure you dont turn upt to a meet where there is a car fitted with one otherwise you will kick your self.

Supersprint do a great back box.

Sebring are also very nice but not everyone likes the angled tail pipes.

Sorry to give you bad news dude but you really should have asked before you placed the order.

I have a particular dislike with Mongoose. My back box fitted badly, the tail pipes weren't level with each other, it hung too low on the car because when you put it higher it rattled against the underside and it drove you spare on the motorway. I took it back to Collins (the manufacturer)where they announced that the back box was fine, it was the (standard) centre section that made it fit badly. Then they dented the tail pipes when they tried to level them up by using a crow bar between the pipes.

When I called them up after I had the centre section checked and told them it was their back box they hung the phone up on me :x

I changed it for a standard back box and everything fitted fine. Frankly Mongoose and Collins don't deserve the custom, they couldn't care less about customers or quality.
