Putting in my smoked Hellas and I came across this on the old lights.

What is it? Can I cut the tube? It doesn't seem to lead to anywhere.

It's for the height adjustment, it should run to the control under the steering columb.
Just chop chop it.

But my hydraulic adjusters actually work :(

There's a prong (looks like a headphone jack) on the new lights which looks like it plugs into the tube - I'm guessing this means the adjusters will worth on the new lights too?

Can you slacken the adjuster and then turn the fixed end 90 degrees and pull it out of the old bracket and re-fit to the new one ?

How can it work if it doesn't lead anywhere?
If it does work, then don't cut or attempt to disconnect the tube.
It's held in place by two plastic rivets of the type with a locking pin in the middle. Push the pin out, remove the rivets and swap the whole assembly over.
