How old's the fez? I keep getting tempted to buy something little & cheap like that - great fun to rag around!
Can't imagine it'll convert you to the dark side permenantly though, so no need to apologise...
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...
I nearly bought an RS1800 when I was E30-less, although it had an Escort RS2000 2.0ltr 16v engine fitted. Was quick and fun to chuck about, but I wasnt sure how well the conversion had been done and the engine had a slight rattle - Ive since been told it was probably the timing chain and was best to stay away.
You will be back in an E30 in no time - as much fun as the RS will be, it just wont feel the same

Watch out for those walls they just jump out at you
You best get it insured quick before they process your last claim.

lol dont worry mate, i sold my E30 a week ago, bit sad to see her go, although i picked up a Kia Pride from work for 100 quid with a new mot, to run around in when my Camaros my weekend car. In the last week of driving the thing, ive ragged it more than its probably been in its whole life, its had the exhuast broke from some serious rally driving up the local downs (propper chav style lol), and the handbrake is now fcuked, but i love it, i can finaly get into somthing everday and not actually give a shit about flooring it from cold, going over curbs etc
