Mate the car looks well mint! you made the right choice with regard to the colour. I always liked e30s in dolphin grey or black like mine, but that blue is just the muts nuts!

first thing I'd say would be to lower it a bit. I went for a 60mm drop all round, but it wasn't exactly practical. Now I've got a 60mm drop at the front and 40mm at the rear, but I think even with just at 35mm drop all round your car will look even tastier.

Nice girl/car combo by the way!

i love dolphin greyand every one said that to me but i wanted some thing diffrent, lowerings not a problem ill only be going 35 all round anyway for driveability and comfort, but just want to make it quicker and more responsive on the throttle, maybe its just easier to put a 2.5 in it and probly cheaper to?

Yeah thats what I intend to do also. I only have a 318i although with the changes its had its pretty close to a 318iS. None the less the engine aint close to a sports and needs a 2.5 in there to replace it. Just got to wait for a few more pay checks till I can get the swap done along with things like changing the suspension, exhaust, LSD etc.

A lot of people I know reckon its probably worth just biting the bullit given the time and money gone into it so far and selling my car to fund a genuine 325i sport especially since the bodywork needs some attention too, and to be fair I can definitely see the logic in it. However I like the thought of converting it into something just that little bit more special to me, I hope!

Good luck with yours mate!

i did m8 they were painted behind them then put back on so as to get a good even finish all round the car, and to make sure the colour matched

i did it all my self m8 im a panel beater sprayer by trade, just be warned though , buy cheap buy twice, make sure you can inspect some work any garage has done before you commit yourself to payin out your hard earned cash on a respray.
but it all depends on wot sort of a job you want at the end of the day, but i would say youd be looking at about £2500-£3500 to get a top notch colour change respray in side and out! probly twice as much if not more down south!

I think that has to be one of if not THE best colour for an e30... lush..

I am soo jealous of those who can spray their own cars! it will cost me a fortune if I redo mine.

Fancy a project
