Motorsport cab? how do i tell?

Hi peeps.

How can i tell the diffrence between a motorsport cab and a standard cab?

whats the bhp figures, cosmetics, suspension ratings etc etc between the lot?

they only made the motorsports from april (I think) 1991. so if its older then that it will not be a motorsport.

bhp same as engine same, gearbox if manual is a different ratio in 1st 2nd and 3rd, but 4th and 5th same ratio, suspension is 15mm lower and a bit stiffer. it will have the mtech 2 kit (but i have seen one zoner selling a pre-face lift sport) and usually bubble leather interior. It will also have a LSD but to check this you need to get unfder the car and look for the identification tag which should have an S on it.

Just call your local BMW dealer. Give them your reg and ask for the original spec - they can then tell you if it has the Motorsport option/code. I got a genuine Motorsport [1989, with no Mtech2 kit!], http://www.e30zone.co.uk/modules.php?na ... ic&t=34537
