I'm thinking about respraying my kidney grill, obviously the first thought was black. Having read about respraying the headlight grills aswell to match, I thought maybe it would be better to make the kidney body coloured, and spray it Macau blue.

Has anyone done this? Would it be a good idea or look shit against the black of the headlight grills?

thanks

Tacky!

Keep it chrome, or if you have to, black!

Black looks good on some cars (not mine particularly, IMHO!), but colour coded looks terrible on every car I've seen with it so far. If you think you'll like it though, or you just wanna prove people wrong / be different, then go for it! It's your car...

mmmm, not sure. i know people are VERY divided on the whole chrome/black grill thing. I just hadn't heard of anyone doing the body coloured thing. Looks like it will be black then - just love the look the car with a smoked front (i have smoked Hella's on the way) and the car looks very dark, almost black, in some lights.

Its an inexpensive mod, so can always go back. But definitely spray the headlight grills at the same time?

Macau is the way mate, dark vision. I would paint the kidney black with black number plate. But these cars arn't that old.
