Map Lights? Glass or no glass??

Hey People! Happy Bank Hols!!

I bought a map light mirror off ebay and Ive finally got it working! Cheers O'B'1 and Ad for the help! The purple/green worked fine the wires are so thin i was having trouble getting the splitter to cut thrugh the insulation. Same trouble with the earth!! -

Looking at the light it occured to me that it looks as though there are lenses missing from the lamps (see pic) is that true??



If so are they something that have a part number that can be bought seperately!! If someone has a pic that would be great

Yes, there should be a lense on each light. Looking at the ETK, there isnt a part number for the lense, only each light unit

It only looks like a thin bit of clear plastic - I dont have the Sport at home at the moment so I cant check, but if they come apart then you could maybe make somthing up??

The light units wont be cheap

Thats what i was thinking James, 1. they'll be expensive and 2. Can i make a replacement. That why im after a pic of someone who has one with the lenses?

The lense is clear not frosted - thats actually the reflection of my driveway.
