I have searched the zone but cant find this...
Can i t-cut my metallic black, or is it unadviseable/pointless due to the clear lacquer? I dont want to mess it up! Also is t-cut my best option? Im trying to get rid of some dull areas, and also small scratches etc. The lacquer has lifted very slightly in a few areas also.
Also, does t-cut mess up the paint work? Does it just grind off the top layer?
Many thanks,
Paul

Get a respray in brilliant red. Your bodykit will then be the same colour as the rest of the car too!

i get told by the old man not to use te cut cos it aint for laquered paint. first try 'mer' its in a blue bottle with a gold lid. its got a lighter cutting agent and wont damage the paint work. but dont use it all the time!!! or it will. old man knows alot about this stuff due to his classics and his bikes. where it has lifted, it sounds like a spray job unfortunatly

Cheers for advice
. My paint is actualy very good, so no spray job needed at all realy, its 100% rust free, i was just hoping to make it look as new, loose some of the surface scratches, but i wont risk it i dont think.
I will see how it looks after a wax and polish
