Mobile auto electrician in North Kent

Hi guys

Can anyone recommend a good mobile auto electrician in Kent who knows the E30? I've got a wire shorting out and the car won't start.

I'm hoping it won't be a huge job but I'm no electrician!

when you say a wire shorting out, have you seen it ?

It happened at the weekend whilst driving in torrential rain. Yes, I've seen it because it's a track car and so all of the interior has been removed.

It is a brown wire going from the fusebox and through the bulkhead. All the plastic has melted from the wire and there was some serious smoke pouring out!

I've not had a chance to look at in detail because of the bad weather

Any ideas?
