Hi folks, my 318i seems to of developed a bit of a clutc fluid lead, is there a usual suspect fo this sort of leak or i it a case of checking master, slave and hoses in turn to see where it is.

Also is removal of either slave or master cylinders particularly difficult? not had a proper look yet.

Regards
Iain

Usually the leak is from the slave cylinder, but its good practice to change both the slave and the master at the same time.

Slaves is the easier of the two. Master can be a bit of a bugger because of access (pedals, dash etc.)
