Freshly painted E30. What WAX/POLISH??

I am having my car sprayed this weekend. What should I do to protect this fresh paint?

Any suggestions on wax, polish etc. and how to apply would be great.

Please give me your reccomendations.

not sure what to use on brand new paint

but definately get yaself some microfibre

no point scratching it up with cheap polishing cloths etc

ask c76jon im sure he will have a magic potion to keep the paint looking mint and new longterm

imho
leave the paint for 7 days and you can be absolutely sure that all is cured etc

but bear in mind as the clear coat goes on its sealing the base coat as it covers it ,7 days is just being on safe side

if the finish from body shop is good ie no marring,swirls etc then you just need to cover with top coat wax/sealant ie no polishing/swirl removal needed

id use

only microfibre to wash and dry cuz if you use sponges and chamois etc you WILL put swirls and marks in paint

then use microfibre to apply wax/sealant and to remove it

id use ZAINO Z1
ZAINO Z2

then between coats id use ZAINO Z8

this will give you an immense finish that will be more durable against water/sun etc than anything else out there
