Hi,
I drive 325i Sport. Currently has a Schrick 288 high lift cam with high performance valve springs (inner & outer), a super chip (remapped), Scorpion exhaust (full system) & the engine is in the process of being rebuilt by a BMW specialist.
Do i invest in a 6 branch manifold for £650.00? What will i gain from this & where will i notice it the most? Seems like a lot of money which i haven't actually got at the moment but may have it in a couple of weeks. Or is there a place that sell it cheaper?

iirc the 6 branch in the zone shop was RR proven to give a 17~18 bhp power hike on a 325, not exactly sure where in the range but i would think its mid to high revs.

Just wondering whether the 6 branch will link straight onto my full Scorpion exhaust system?

Your engine configuration will highly benefit from a good 6 branch.
Here is the dyno graph of before and after 6 branch was fitted:
Its this 6 branch:
The car was not remapped at all, just the 6 branch and BTB exhaust.
Without the exhaust you'd be easily getting around 15bhp peak.
The whole thing will directly onto your Scorpion system as it replaces not only the manifold but the downpipes aswell.
The fritz Bitz manifold - they claim 20 bhp gains. Karan's GUG had it stuck on a few years ago and made 1 bhp gain! Sounded nice though!
Compare it to the above manifold:

Okay the 6 branch does look good, how much is the postage & packaging? Is the 6 branch that you have just showed me the same as the one on the Zone Shop?
Also, will i need to replace the Scorpion or leave it as it is?
