Just had to replace the ECU after a world of problems. All well now but comparitively running like a bag of shit under standard ECU settings.
Mechanic said I must have "spiked" the old ECU when I fitted the chip, said that even daylight could fzuk it up. Thought I'd taken utmost care and she ran like a dream for about 3 months before having starting & flooding problems.
Question is can I take the chip out of my old ECU and put it in the new one obviously being a bit more careful this time - or will it be zapped?

Your problems where with the ECU and not the chip, It will be ok to fit to your new ECU. http://www.e30zone.co.uk/modules.php?na ... hnchip.htm
