[chimpy mode] BIGUP TO DA ADMIN AND MODERATAR MASSIV INIT!!!! [/chimpy mode]

Seriously Team, a sub-24 hour turnaround! VERY impressed! I was afraid that we would be on lockdown for a week or so! I think the mods and admin deserve beers all round for this! Cant believe how fast u guys(and lets not forget the lady) sorted this mess out!

I think all the Zone team should go to the next local meet and not drive...that way we can all buy them drinks for being so bloody good at running this ship!

I can take no credit for sure, Steve/Adam/Paul/Bharat etc etc

As for comment on the situation,

What a shame.

Good to see situation normalised!

Got very worried earlier that I'd offended someone and had been booted off when I couldn't log in!!!!

Seriously though - what IS the root cause of all these hassles on the new (and old) forums??? I spend alot more time on 3 or 4 other sites (Volkszone - Retro-Rides - Low and Wide) and there it never happens. So why does it keep happening here??? Obviously there are certain individuals with axes to grind....

....Should we let them have their say (i.e. be a little more lassaiz faire in our attitudes to work through their grievances....before them getting booted off? It might mean that probs like this don't keep on occurring.

It's just a thought, so please don't flame my ass for this opinion!!!!!!!!!!

A lot has happened in the past that you aren't aware of, you are a fairly new member to the forum, it's been running a couple of years now. If someone is stopped fromcoming on the site, it's for a very good reason.

I think i joined just as it was all kicking off! I remember lots of the issues, but not all of it. I say this to my mum when i see war and religious arguements on the news... "Why cant people just get allong mum?"

Unfortunately, the sad fact is that some people would rather fight and bitch than "get allong" i think this may be the case with the crashing and hacking of the forums.
