I recently replaced my old steering rack with a e36 rack and new bavauto springs and touring shocks from Bilstein. I have a odd popping noise in the front when i go from lock to lock at frist i thought it was a loose tie rod but they are tight. the sound is like the new springs are binding? any clues i just can't figure it out

is that the boot at the end of the tie rod. if so i don't think that is it as they are new tierods. Any other guesses as it is now making the noise around every turn.

The ball joints are what items 5 & 6 bolt onto.
