I've been looking for a new twin pipe backbox to replace the standard single pipe one on my '87 320i

I've had a look at powerflow who seem quite good and relatively inexpensive, especially as they can tune the sound which I want quite raspy but not too loud.

Does anyone else have any other recommendations??

Supersprint rear box is very well built and not overly loud. Costs £265 roughly. Use with standard centre section.

Other option is Scorpion.

Powerflow - be careful here as only a few of the powerflow centres are any good. The design of the actual boxes is very simple and the internals dont tend to last very long.

Powerflow exhausts come with a lifetime guarantee though...so you'd expect them to last wouldn't you?

All the lifetime guarantee will give you is a lifetimes worth of grief. I know someone that goes back each year for a replacement

All depends on which Powerflow centre you go to.

I've seen some very nice systems come out of there.

There is a member here called blingsta, he has a custom exhaust and it is very nice. Sound is great with his Alpina 6 branch. Don't know where he had it made but it certainly didnt lose him power or torque anywhere. I've seen the dyno graphs.

hmmm...okay I guess I shouldn't skimp then a pay the premium for a Supersprint if it means i'm not going to need a replacement every year :-|

If I get one off the E30zone shop...how easy are they to fit??

Does anyone know any Supersprint suppliers in the South West? (Cheltenham & Gloucester)
