Yes people, i've pulled my finger out, and bought a domain name, got some hosting on an apache server and its all going well.

for the latest, have a blast over to

http://www.e30cosworth.co.uk

The site is still in its very early stages, and needs a couple of the pages uploading (such as links and gallery etc etc) but the main page, donor car, and this weeks build diary is live.

Hope you all enjoy winkeye

Paul

WHY have you done it this way!

Please, Please, Please actually weld a small piece of metal in and then a skim of filler over the top.

Fibre Glass is such a bodge!

Rich - there is a small plate under there ;)

the fibreglass is there to fill the small gap to the surface, then once that has been smoothed off, i'll use a fine putty to get the finish required - reason being, using filler direct onto the plate is bad, as over time, the filler will sink :(

It didn't get mullered into the armco, unlike Chip did with his E30

I twisted the shell slightly, and the rear beam, but hey-ho, onwards and upwards winkeye

there were 4wd e30's so the basic alowances in structure would still be there.

i wanna see a 4wd turbo e30. wouldnt do it myself tho lil 4 pot could never satisfy me and blow off valves are the most annoying thing ever invented.

still cool project man looks like fun should be awesome when finished. good luck.

Must say I hated the Sierra, if only due to its image problem.

Glad it died in the way it deserved to (if any car deserves to die that is). Interesting choice of headlights.

Looks an excellent website though. Will be keeping an eye on it as you seem to be getting on with the project pretty quickly :)
