Can anyone tell me the easiest way to DIY on a wheel refurb. In 100k they hav'nt been kerbed  . However the polished rims have nearly all flaked off. I'm dont want to pay the refurb costs because i am sure sorting the rims can not be too much work.

thanks

Firstly get the tyres taken off, then coat the rims with Paint/ lacour remover, each time the paint remover is doing it's stuff, takea stanley type blade and scrape away, repeat untill it's all gone, then i used a stainless steel pan scourer to clean the rim, lean more elbow grease with the metal polish :D
