rain rain rain !!

sorry i made it rain guys - i bought a 325i cab yesterday and drove it 120 miles home in the pi**ing rain and now its raining today. I managed to drive with the hood down for 5 miles and that was it !!! grrrrrr. Pics to be posted soon, think i got a reasonable deal. 325i convertible 1990 in glacier blue with blue hood (new hood 18 months ago) . full service history. no major issues - a few minor scratches and trim to be replaced (one door seal, broken ashtray etc - all minor stuff). 92k on the clock .paid Ã‚£3400. cheers.

Yep, aint stopped raining here for 7 days!

Car sounds nice though, I'm searching for an E30 myself, I keep getting flashbacks to my dad getting our E30 320i (Saturn Blau with hubcaps ugh!) serviced and there was a new 325 rag top in the showroom. Looked lovely!

There was also one of the last M635CSis ever made but my doctor says I've not to talk about that.

Isn't that why you bought a rear wheel drive convertible, so you can have fun in the rain or the sun?

If I can get my 1.8s sideways I can't see why you're complaining if you have a 2.5....

Sounds like you got a good deal on the cab though.

Well i cane to work in jeans and T-shirt and i'ts 25 degrees out side. Just the weather for topping up on my tan

True, my roof has a hole. Doesn't leak too bad unless it's sat uncovered for ages. No worries when it's under steam!!!

Off to washington dc on saturday. Meant to hit 30 degrees c by Weds. Shame I won't have my motor!!!

finally got the top down !!! sunny but a bit chilly.
think i got a good deal on the car - will know more after sat. its going to my BMW specialist for a service and full going over with his "eagle-eye". one or two minor things to sort but nothing too expensive (i hope !!)
