Hello all, I am a little confused, I have an E30 325 convertible. I had it washed over the weekend and after giving the wheel arches a good blast with the jet washer the ABS light will not go out after starting the car. Does anybody have any ideas.

Regards

check you havent got water into the abs sensor connections
also you may have to take the sensors off and give them a good clean etc also clean the hubs wherre the sensor sits

think you have prob dislodged some crap and its stopping the sensor from doing its job properly

imo 9 /10 abs light prob is down to muck on the sensors

but check connections first as they may just be damp hence the light on

hope that helps
if not give brianmoore a shout his knowledge far exceeds mine

no worries fella
glad to help

if you have a multimeter get some readings while your at it and speak to brian he will know if the sensors are working right etc

good luck

i say they prob need clean etc as my old 325 in the history seemed to have an abs fault nearly once a year and had always gone into bmw and
had the sensors cleaned which has always solved the fault.....
