I need to get shot of the one ive got as its not factory and its too big...TBH i dont even use the radio...ever,but need a nice lil stubbly aerial that will fill the hole..anyone got any ideas,someone must have changed the factory elec aerail for something smaller?
Can find loads of the screwin bee-sting type but no decent wing-mounted ones..
any help appreciated

coupla suggestions:
put an electric aerial in there with a kill switch so that it doesn't trigger while you're listening to cds.
run a cable up through your a-pillar and along the top of your screen line and use that as your aerial - it will be good enough to pick up the strong fm stations fairly clearly. you can then rubber bung the aerial hole or even better plate and paint it...
or you could twist a coathanger round for that authentic 80s budget look.
have you taken a look round to see what modern cabs have as an aerial? there maybe some inspiration to be found.

you can get one that fits onto rear window than you can cover hole on body.
