So, have 325i cab, summer on its way, may be a motorsport one need to check this out, but should i leave it as a switchable automatic or convert it to manual?
Also, head gasket has gone on it, not a problem as will do it myself, but do i use the 24 valve 2.5 engine from an e34 sport that i have with gearbox etc or just do the head gasket and maybe convert it to manual.
Decisions decisions.
What do you guys think?
Manual or auto 12 valve?
12 valve or 24 valve?

Stay auto.
Economy is slightly worse but when cruising in town you'll definitely enjoy it more than a manual.

24v conversions are not alot better than 12v in all honesty.
a nice 12v auto, they are a nice drive, just cruise which is what a cab is for
