Hey guys, just a quick question.
I'm halfway through 'refreshing' my wiper motor - as per the tech guide(top marks to the writer) - and noticed that I've got a fuse out. Everything seems to be working fine, so I'm at a loss as to what it controls!
So if anyone's got a haynes on front of them, can you tell me what fuse number 9 is for? (e30 316i lux(m40)).
Many thanks.

according to the haynes manual, fuse 9 is injection electronics, then it says see also fuse 21, which is:
auto changing flashlight
glove box light
ignition key/seatbelt warning
interior lights
radio/antenna
trunk light
active check control
servince interval indicator
on board computer
tachometer
HTH

Well, I refreshed my wiper motor and replaced that fuse, but I can't say i'm impressed with either result.
The wipers work better, but not perfectly; I can't see any way out of getting another unit.
Also, it could be all in my mind, but upon replacing fuse 9, I could swear my car is more sluggish than this morning.
